Product Design Intern (Entry-Level)

Location : Hyderabad / Bangalore / Remote || Employment Type : Full-Time / Part-Time || Experience Level : 0 - 1 years

Job Summary :

We are seeking a motivated and creative Product Design Intern to join our design team. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about creating meaningful digital experiences and eager to learn the end-to-end product design process. You will work closely with product designers, developers, and product managers to support the design of intuitive, user-centered solutions for web and mobile applications.


Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist in designing user-oriented features, UI screens, and interactive components.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh design ideas.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and prototypes under the guidance of senior designers.
  • Support in conducting user research, surveys, and usability testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements.

  • Help maintain and update design systems and component libraries.
  • Stay updated with design trends, tools, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design, HCI, Visual Communication, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and human-centered design.
  • Familiarity with design tools: Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Illustrator, or similar.
  • Knowledge of layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
  • Good communication, creativity, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively.

Preferred (Good to Have) :

  • Basic knowledge of prototyping or motion design.
  • Understanding of HTML/CSS concepts (not mandatory).
  • Experience with academic, freelance, or personal design projects.
  • A portfolio showcasing any course work, case studies, or practice designs.
