Associate UI Designer (Entry Level)

Job Summary :

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Associate UI Designer to join our design team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone passionate about user interface design, visual aesthetics, and modern digital experiences. You will collaborate with senior designers, developers, and product teams to create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces for web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in designing clean, user-friendly UI layouts for web & mobile products.
• Support the creation of wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and design assets.
• Work closely with UX designers to translate user needs into visually compelling interfaces.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure accurate implementation of design outputs.
• Contribute to maintaining and improving design systems, style guides, and component libraries.
• Conduct basic competitive analysis and stay updated on UI trends, design tools, and best practices.
• Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback effectively.
• Prepare and organize design files for easy handoff to developers.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Communication, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent training).
• Basic understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and design thinking.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Illustrator, or Sketch.
• Knowledge of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
• Ability to create simple wireframes and high-fidelity designs.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail with a willingness to learn and grow.

Preferred (Good to Have) :

• Familiarity with prototyping tools and motion design basics.
• Understanding of HTML/CSS concepts (not mandatory).
• Experience with user research or usability testing (even academic or personal projects).
• A portfolio showcasing academic, internship, or personal UI design projects.
